DAY 1: SETTLE IN WITH COASTAL VIBES

Pick-up: We will arrange transportation to pick you up at 9 AM
A beautiful beach house with a lawn that stretches up to the sea! Settle in and breathe in the ocean breeze as we step into Sindhudurg.
Check in at the stay & trip briefing by the Trip Captain
Explore the Pineforest beach by the Stay.
Visit the famed 300-year-old Vetoba Temple. The temple is revered and known to house the physical manifestation of Lord Vetaal.
Mountainside Hidden Beach Trail: A Trail to an offbeat beach by a mountain, witnessing a
birdseye view of the river forming a delta with the ocean!

DAY 2: EXPLORE ON

Seaside Fort & Hidden Blue Lagoon Beach Trail: Step into history as you wander through a rustic seaside fort, where ancient stone walls intertwine with sprawling fig trees. This magical fusion of nature and architecture hides secret viewpoints and echoes of the past waiting to be uncovered.
Explore the serene coastline near the fort. End the trail with a dip into the calming blue lagoon by the sea.
Across Goa! Take a dreamy ferry ride across the Terekhol River to reach a hidden beach in Goa!
A short trail from here takes you to a cave that opens to another amazing beachside.
Rest and rejuvenate, ready for more adventures tomorrow.

DAY 3: UNDER THE STARS

Rest & rejuvenate at the Stay. Explore the sunrise through the pine forest at the Stay.
Meander through charming lanes as centuries of art, history, and culture unfold before you.
Taste unique local delicacies and shop for authentic regional items with our knowledgeable guide. Experience the true essence of Vengurla in just a few hours.
Embark on a scenic drive, venturing off the beaten path to reach a hidden beachside. We will be camping at Turtle Beach, an active turtle nesting site.
Relish a chai session while getting introduced to our friendly local host. Their welcoming family resides just steps away from the beach, ensuring convenient access to the loo and washroom throughout the camp experience
Tent pitching: Set up comfortable tents right on the beach with help from Camp Coordinators
Now, it’s time to learn the art of sizzling BBQ
As the sun gracefully sets – let’s fire up the Bonfire
Soak up the allure of the night, fading into stories & laughter

DAY 4: WATER ACTIVITES & FAREWELL

Devbaug Diving site has better marine diversity & depth for a good scuba experience. You do not
need to know how to swim; the trained divers will guide you throughout the experience.

Wind up the Campsite
Scuba Diving at Fisherman’s Cove at Devbaug! Deep Sea Scuba with a 45-minute boat ride into the ocean. [Scuba may take 3-5 Hours overall]
Watersports: [Add on!] Jetski, Speedboat, Banana ride, Bumper ride, & Parasailing at
watersporting hotspot, Tsunami Island [Watersports may take 1-2 Hours]
Departure: Drop back at the Station/Highway (with a truckload of memories)

Local Transfers: All the local transfers within Konkan.
Accommodation: Comfortable & simple homestays are provided for 2 nights of the trip on a triple-sharing basis. On the 3rd night, we'll be camping at the beach.

Exclusions

Meals & Beverages: Any additional meals & beverages not specified in the itinerary are not included, as well as personal expenses.
Activities: Water activities, apart from Scuba Diving, are not included in the trip.
Miscellaneous: Items not mentioned in the inclusions are the traveller's responsibility.
Additional Services: Porterage at hotels and airports, tips, insurance, laundry, and alcoholic beverages are not covered.
Natural Calamities: Any costs incurred due to unforeseen events like landslides or roadblocks are not included.
Transportation: Airfares, train and bus tickets are not part of the package and should be arranged separately. (if not opted)
Insurance: Health, medical, life, or accidental insurance coverage is not provided and should be arranged by the traveller.

1. How to make the payment?

2. What’s the difficulty level of the hikes?

The hikes on this trip are easy to moderate, suitable for beginners. The trails are well-defined, with no ascents. Basic fitness is recommended, but no prior trekking experience is necessary.

3. What kind of accommodation can we expect?

We stay in homestays offering a comfortable and local immersive experience. Rooms are shared, clean, and have basic amenities, providing a warm and homely feel. Camping on the 3rd night.

4. Is this trip suitable for solo travellers?

Absolutely! Many of our travellers join solo and leave with new friends. Our community-driven experience ensures a friendly and comfortable environment for everyone.

5. Can I extend my stay after the trip?

Yes, if you wish to explore more, we can help you with recommendations and local stay options. Just let us know in advance!

6. Is the group trip safe for female travellers?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. We curate a respectful and inclusive travel environment, ensuring all participants feel comfortable. Our groups are diverse yet like-minded, and our experienced trip leaders are always present to assist. We stay in vetted accommodations, follow structured itineraries, and prioritise well-being at all times. Many solo female travellers have joined us before and had an amazing experience! 😊✨

7. What payment modes are available?

You can pay by UPI, Debit Cards, Credit Cards or EMI (depending on your credit card)

8. Do I need to pay the entire amount while booking?

You can book your spot by paying ₹5000. The rest of the amount can be paid within 7 days of the trip’s starting date.

9. ⁠What is the cancellation policy?

If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the booking amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the booking amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the booking amount will be charged as cancellation fees.

10. Which flights or trains should I book?

You can book a flight/train that reaches in MOPA Airport/Sawantwadi Station around 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM on 23rd January. And while returning, book a flight/train from MOPA Airport/Sawantwadi Station after 6:00 PM on 26th January, as we will be done by 2:00-3:00 PM.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION: To confirm your slot, a deposit of ₹5000 needs to be paid.
FINAL PAYMENT: The outstanding balance must be settled at least 7 days before the trip's commencement. If payment is not completed by this deadline, your reservation may be subject to cancellation.

BOOKING: All reservations made with Nomads of India, henceforth referred to as 'the company', are subject to the following conditions:
The individual signing the booking form accepts these conditions and is thereafter referred to as the client.
LIABILITY: The company cannot be held accountable for consequences arising from weather conditions, flight cancellations, war, strikes, political unrest, or any other force majeure event.
The company reserves the right to employ alternative transportation or alter the itinerary in the event of breakdowns, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Any resulting additional expenses, such as extra accommodation or transport, will be the responsibility of the client and must be paid directly.
ASSUMPTION OF RISKS: Clients must acknowledge and accept the inherent hazards of adventurous and cultural holidays at their own risk.
The company is not liable for any illness, injury, or loss of property incurred during the trip.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Mandatory insurance covering various unforeseen expenses, including medical costs, baggage loss, and trip cancellation, is required for all clients.
AUTHORITY OF THE TRIP LEADER: Clients agree to abide by the authority and decisions of the trip leader appointed by the company.
Disruptive behaviour may result in expulsion from the trip without a refund, with any associated expenses being the client's responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITY: The organisers and affiliates are not liable for accidents or natural calamities.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY: Nomads of India maintains a strict zero-tolerance stance against harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct, regardless of gender. Any reported incidents will undergo a swift and thorough investigation, with corresponding actions taken accordingly. Your safety is our utmost priority, and we are committed to providing a secure and empowering travel environment for all participants.
