A 4-day monsoon trip through the green hills of the Western Ghats, the peaceful ghats of Amboli, and the stunning coastal belt of Sindhudurg in offbeat Konkan.

We’ll chase hidden waterfalls, walk through forest trails, swim in natural streams, and chill on the quiet beaches of Malvan and Vengurla. You’ll get to try local Malvani food, stay in simple, warm homestays, and experience the real Kokan life during the rains.

It’s a raw, fun, and refreshing ride through the best parts of the Konkan coast.

DAY 0 & 1: AMBOLI HILLS

Day 0: Overnight bus journey from Mumbai to Sawantwadi
Group pick-up and transfer arrangements by the team

DAY 2: FOOTHILLS & WATERFALL TRAILS

Local Transfers: All the local transfers within Konkan.
Accommodation: Comfortable & simple homestays are provided for all three nights of the trip on a triple-sharing basis. (On Day 2, we'll stay at the only homestay in the village, offering basic yet clean rooms and amenities on a triple sharing/6-bed dorm-sharing basis. The stay is one of its kind—nestled amidst jungle, river streams, and waterfalls, making it a truly unique experience.)
Meals: 11 Meals

Meals & Beverages: Any additional meals & beverages not specified in the itinerary are not included, as well as personal expenses.
Miscellaneous: Items not mentioned in the inclusions are the traveller's responsibility.
Additional Services: Porterage at hotels and airports, tips, insurance, laundry, and alcoholic beverages are not covered.
Natural Calamities: Any costs incurred due to unforeseen events like landslides or roadblocks are not included.
Transportation: Airfares, train and bus tickets are not part of the package and should be arranged separately. (if not opted)
Insurance: Health, medical, life, or accidental insurance coverage is not provided and should be arranged by the traveller.

1. How to make the payment?

2. What’s the difficulty level of the hikes?

The hikes on this trip are easy to moderate, suitable for beginners. The trails are well-defined, with no ascents. Basic fitness is recommended, but no prior trekking experience is necessary.

3. What kind of accommodation can we expect?

We stay in homestays offering a comfortable and local immersive experience. Rooms are shared, clean, and have basic amenities, providing a warm and homely feel.

4. Is this trip suitable for solo travellers?

Absolutely! Many of our travellers join solo and leave with new friends. Our community-driven experience ensures a friendly and comfortable environment for everyone.

5. Can I extend my stay after the trip?

6. Is the group trip safe for female travellers?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. We curate a respectful and inclusive travel environment, ensuring all participants feel comfortable. Our groups are diverse yet like-minded, and our experienced trip leaders are always present to assist. 7. What payment modes are available?

You can pay by UPI, Debit Cards, Credit Cards or EMI (depending on your credit card)

8. Do I need to pay the entire amount while booking?

You can book your spot by paying ₹5000. The rest of the amount can be paid within 7 days of the trip’s starting date.

9. ⁠What is the cancellation policy?

If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the booking amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the booking amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the booking amount will be charged as cancellation fees.

10. Which flights or trains should I book?

You can book a flight/train that reaches in MOPA Airport/Sawantwadi Station around 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM. And while returning, book a flight/train from MOPA Airport/Sawantwadi Station after 6:00 PM, as we will be done by 2:00-3:00 PM.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION: To confirm your slot, a deposit of ₹5000 needs to be paid.
FINAL PAYMENT: The outstanding balance must be settled at least 7 days before the trip's commencement. If payment is not completed by this deadline, your reservation may be subject to cancellation.

BOOKING: All reservations made with Nomads of India, henceforth referred to as 'the company', are subject to the following conditions:
The individual signing the booking form accepts these conditions and is thereafter referred to as the client.
LIABILITY: The company cannot be held accountable for consequences arising from weather conditions, flight cancellations, war, strikes, political unrest, or any other force majeure event.
The company reserves the right to employ alternative transportation or alter the itinerary in the event of breakdowns, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Any resulting additional expenses, such as extra accommodation or transport, will be the responsibility of the client and must be paid directly.
ASSUMPTION OF RISKS: Clients must acknowledge and accept the inherent hazards of adventurous and cultural holidays at their own risk.
The company is not liable for any illness, injury, or loss of property incurred during the trip.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Mandatory insurance covering various unforeseen expenses, including medical costs, baggage loss, and trip cancellation, is required for all clients.
AUTHORITY OF THE TRIP LEADER: Clients agree to abide by the authority and decisions of the trip leader appointed by the company.
Disruptive behaviour may result in expulsion from the trip without a refund, with any associated expenses being the client's responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITY: The organisers and affiliates are not liable for accidents or natural calamities.
